Louisiana Wandering: The Vienna Cemetery
Documenting Lincoln Parish's Vienna Cemetery through images...
Hey everyone 👋
Welcome to this week’s ShutterCraft 101: Louisiana Wandering newsletter
I read this article published in the Lincoln Parish Journal newsletter a few days ago and it sparked the idea to visit the Vienna Cemetery, located just north of Ruston on Hwy 167.
Personally, I've never been a fan of taking any (direct) pictures of gravestones in a cemetery. From a pure respect standpoint.
Someone's loved ones are buried there.
They mean/meant something to them.
With that said, I absolutely feel like documenting a cemetery (respectfully) through images is a good thing for the community and its history.
So here is my best effort of the Vienna Cemetery located in Lincoln Parish.
I hope you enjoy them!
One of the perks for supporting the ShutterCraft 101 newsletter with a paid subscription is a 20% discount on any of the digital downloads, prints, and high-resolution images from my Kofi Shop Page.
(All images were captured with a Nikon Z50 and Nikkor DX 16-50 lens. Edited in Lightroom Mobile with a free preset and other minor adjustments.)
Thank you for reading ShutterCraft 101: Louisiana Wandering and I hope you have a great rest of your week. 📷
